The emirate has opened multiple new toll gates with the aim of regulating traffic on main roads. The automated electronic collection of tolls is done through strategically placed ten toll gates and these gates deduct tolls from a preloaded account. Residents and tourists can move around easily without worrying about congestion.
Apart from this, Dubai is also launching a programme that will exempt certain residents from paying a fee. The new scheme is in line with Dubai’s vision for inclusivity and better living and as well as for making city amenities available for all
