According to Emirates Airlines, Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3 will see an increase in foot traffic this weekend, with more than 300,000 travellers expected to move through the terminal from April 18th to April 20th.
Given the expected congestion for the traffic flow in and around Terminal 3, Emirates is encouraging all of the passengers to arrive at the airport early to have sufficient time to address all travel documents which are critical for facilitating unhindered travel.
In a bid to ease procedures associated with the airport experience, travellers are encouraged to make use of the various check-in features. Emirates enables online check-in commencing 48 hours prior to departure on their website www.emirates.com or through the Emirates mobile application. Digital check-in passengers will have the privilege of mobile boarding passes which shortens time spent in the airport.
Moreover, for US flights, check-in will be available at Terminal 3 with 12 hours till flight departure. All non-US flights will have a 24-hour prior check-in.
Emirates further appeals to all types of customers to strategize their plans, observe the travel regulations, and carefully factor in the time allocated for most passport verification processes to guarantee free travel barriers at the airport.
