The World Economic Forum’s remarkable selection of three Emirati women for the ‘Global Young Leaders Council 2025’ marks another step for the Emirates on the world stage and further cements its dedication to sustainable progress.
The newly appointed members are:
Shamma bint Suhail Al Mazrouei- Minister of Community Empowerment, United Arab Emirates.
Meera Sultan Al Suwaidi- Member of the Federal National Council.
Taqwa Wadah Al Hanai- Assistant Professor at NYU Abu Dhabi.
Along with the accomplishments of these women which speaks for itself, the decision also shows the level of investment made by the UAE towards enabling women, youth, and advancement-ready transformation. The Council is composed of exceptional people from all corners of the globe focused on formulating policies and using innovation and leadership to resolve some of the most challenging issues facing humanity.
