To beat the heat of Dubai’s searing summer, some of the outdoor attractions will be taking a break until the weather cools down. Below are the seasonal closures for some of the city’s outdoor attractions. Locals and visitors can enjoy them, but will miss them till fall!
1️⃣ Garden Glow – Closed April 6
Garden Glow located in Dubai is known for its art installations, light displays, and glowing sculptures. This year, the garden has also decided to close its gates on 6th April onwards to avoid the suffocating Dubai heat. Don’t be disheartened, the garden will come back next winter to illuminate the city!
2️⃣ Dubai Fountain – Final Show April 19; Reopening Oct 2025 After Major Upgrade
The fountain is a must see for any tourists in the Dubai Mall. Because of this reason, it will be closing later than the rest of the attractions on April 19. Sadly, the fountain will not be available for viewing until October 2025, as it is undergoing major renovations.
If you haven’t caught a brad show yet this year, you’ve got just a few days left to enjoy the spectacular water and light show before it takes a break for renovations.
3️⃣ Ripe Market – Closing May 11
Ripe Market is known for its fresh, organic, and locally made products, making it a go-to market every weekend. Unfortunately, the outdoor stalls will be closing on May 11 for the summer. This seasonal break allows both vendors and shoppers to avoid the heat, but don’t worry—it will return during the cooler months with exciting farm-fresh offers.
4️⃣ Global Village – Season Ends May 11
Global Village, another famous site for locals and tourists, will close for the summer starting May 11. It is well-known for its multicultural pavilions, many rides, street shows, and food from all over the world. Don’t miss the chance to see the multicultural fusion that makes this place so special before it closes for the summer.
5️⃣ Miracle Garden – Open Until June 15
Miracle Garden holds the title of one of the largest natural flower gardens in the world. It is a spectacular sight as millions of flowers bloom in astonishing arrangements. However, due to the increment of temperature, Miracle Garden will be shutting down on June 15. With its enchanting pathways, vibrant floral displays are now the time to relish this colorful paradise before it goes dormant for summer. 6️⃣ Dubai Safari Park – Closes June 1
If Dubai Safari Park is on your must-visit list, then your time is running out! Hosting over 2500 wildlife animals from all corners of the globe, the park will be closing down for summer break starting June 1. As the temperature rises too much, both for the animals and visitors, the park will shut its gates until the weather cools down.
